Guide your family through Lent with a purpose

Guide your family through Lent with a purpose this Lent with a planner designed just for you. As the season of Lent approaches, many families will embark on a journey of self-reflection, spiritual growth, and personal sacrifice. To make the most out of this solemn period, an enormous amount of planning is needed to keep your family  organized, focused, and aligned with your spiritual goals. Today, I want to share a free Lenten planner that will allow you to smoothly guide your family through the Lent season.

Lent is a 40-day season of fasting, prayer, and penance observed by Christians worldwide. It begins on Ash Wednesday and concludes on Easter Sunday, symbolizing the 40 days Jesus spent fasting in the desert. During this time, believers often choose to give up certain indulgences, engage in acts of kindness, and deepen their connection with their faith through prayer and reflection.

This Lent planner focuses on each of these three key pillars of Lent: prayer, sacrifice, and charity. For two weeks, each of these pillars is covered in great detail, with a prayerful meditation that allows each member of your family to delve into the importance of each of these pillars and how to bring these important tenants of faith into their daily lives.

Of course, thinking about your faith isn't enough to truly grow your faith. Therefore, each day has a prayerful action to make space for actively pursuing your relationship with God and growing your faith this Lenten season.

Finally, each day of Lent, there is also an assigned Bible reading. By the end of Lent, you will have read all of the Gospels and heard directly from the Word of God how to follow Jesus Christ in your own life.

If you want to guide your family through Lent with a purpose, a carefully planned Lenten faith journey but don't have time on your own to develop a plan, my Lenten Planner is freely available now!
